“Morningstar”, Is the second single off AndyLP’s upcoming album “Red Flags” .
Inspired by Avicii, Morningstar is a perfect mix of pop & folk. Telling an emotional story about the fear of loss and the struggles of being alone. through beautiful and deep lyrics Andy finds a way to make listeners dance and cry at the same time.
This will be Andy’s debut album due to release independently mid July with a total of 8 tracks including “Morningstar” & previous single “Butterflies”.

AndyLP is a cheeky, fun loving & tender artist. Originating from the Mornington peninsula, Melbourne. His music ranges from up beat pop to guitar driven folk to tender pieces that will have your heart in your hand.

SINGLE LAUNCH AT THE RETREAT HOTEL MAY 23RD
On May 23rd at the retreat hotel Andy will be holding the “Little Too Late single launch”.
With support acts such as Mathilde Anne & Harriet Wraith. Andy is looking to sell out again such as his pervious album launch. As a way to build fans & give back to the community, Andy has also reached out to local radio hosts, artists, Labels & more with custom free tickets and merch in hopes that they come to enjoy the show.

The Artist & The Songwriter
Andy looks at himself as an Artist and a Songwriter respectively separate. With the hopes of creating success with his music as “AndyLP” while also being able to pursue a career as a songwriter/composer being able to write for artists other than himself. This is achievable as Andy always prioritises his song writing over all else as he believes “It’s what I do best. My ability to write and contribute in any genre puts me in a different league to other writers.”
The “RED FLAGS” Album
RED FLAGS was the album previously released by Andy. The album consists of the Tracks “Butterflies”, “Morningstar”, “Red Flags”, “1”, “Forest”, Sweat”, “Kiss Her” & “Best Friend”.
Released in July 2024 followed by a SOLD OUT LAUNCH at the Espy, the album currently sits at just under 20,000 streams.
What’s next?
In Late May After the Single Launch Andy is headed over to Hawaii’s Famous song writing festival to link up with US based artists, producers & scouts in hope of creating new music, expanding his network & potential signing to a publishing label.
Andy also aims to release another single by the end of 2025, book a festival slot, and Collab with more Aus based artists in 2025.
